what i can say is that mabasa’s MAPENZI is just extra ordinary.the author clearly articulate his ideological and sensibilties in novel,for instance his use of oral art forms such the folktale of ZIZI and NHENGURE is a clear manifestation of his satirical whip on the hypocricy,greed and corruption that plagued and bedeveled post-independent african countries. i can go on and on commenting his artistic vitriol,but ha-a MABASA its a genius among the rest of zimbabwe prolific writers

man i just loved mapenzi.i did it at A Level and now i am doing it at university.infact i am writing a project on it
