Mike Wilson who edited Issue 2 of Tripod Magazine says the theme for the next issue of the magazine is “Picture This.”

Submission Guidelines

• All submissions must engage with the theme “Picture This.”
• You may write specifically to the theme, or submit existing work that you feel is appropriate. We look forward to your ideas and interpretations of this theme.
• We especially welcome submissions from those who live, work or have connection with the three cities.
• Please submit your work typed on A4 paper, one side only, and 1.5 or double-spaced: please don’t use fonts which are elaborate, and please use black, not coloured ink. Include full contact details, including email address where possible, and a short biography of the writer.
• Postal submissions only, please, to:

There have been recent changes to postal charges for A4 envelopes and other larger packages. Ensure you put enough postage on your submissions: any Royal Mail cards telling us there is postage to pay, and parcels to collect from the depot, will have to be discarded.

• If you would like your manuscript returned to you, please enclose a large self-addressed envelope, again making sure it has sufficient return postage. Manuscripts cannot be returned at our expense.
• Writers selected for Issue 3 will be awarded a prize at the following rates:

Poetry (up to 60 lines) — £50
Short Fiction (up to 3,000 words) — £200.

• The closing date for submissions is September 14, 2007.
• Tripod Issue 3 will be published at the end of October 2007.
